From New York City
Take George Washington Bridge, stay in right lane as you cross the bridge.
Take first exit off the bridge onto Palisades North.
Palisades to exit for Thruway 87 North.
Thruway 87 north to Exit 21. The name of this exit is Catskill.
Out of the toll booth, take a left at the stop sign.
Drive 1/2 mile to just beyond the thruway overpass.
Take a left onto 23 East. (This left is an on-ramp)
23 East for 2 miles to first stoplight.
Left at stoplight onto 385 north.
385 north for 2 miles, into Athens which is marked with a big sign.
Once you see the sign take the third right, turning onto 2nd Street.
The Stewart House is 1 block down, on the left, on the corner of 2nd and Water Streets, on the Hudson River.

From Albany, Massachusettes, and all points North
Take thruway 87 South to Exit 21B., which is the Coxsackie exit.
Out of the toll booth, take a left at the light onto 9W south.
Take 9W South for 7.8 miles, then take a left at the light onto Route 28 (There is a Sunoco Station/Xtra Mart on the right hand side).
Check odometer, and drive 2.8 miles on route 28. This will bring you to the top of a small hill and the back of Athens.
Take a left onto 2nd Street. Take 2nd Street all the way down to the river.
The Stewart House is on the river, on the corner of 2nd and Water Streets.

From Hudson and points East (across the River) or from Amtrak Station in Hudson
Pick up 23 West to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge.
Take the Rip Van Winkle Bridge across the Hudson.
At the first stoplight, take a right turning onto 385 North.
385 north for 4 miles into Athens which is our town, and is marked with a big sign.
Once you see the sign take the third right, turning onto 2nd Street. The Stewart House is 1 block down, on the left, on the corner of 2nd and Water Streets, on the Hudson River.
